Artec technology was originally developed for biometric access control. It was used in facial recognition systems. That means that the 3D scanners are the perfect tool for scanning the human body and faces in particular. There is no need for electromagnetic tracking, position markers or long set-up. 3D scanning of the face (ear-to-ear) takes less than 10-15 seconds.
